For a Full Diagnostic Assessment & Report

  • Full diagnostic assessment £500

  • £100 deposit to secure a date

  • Final amount to be cleared 7 working days prior to assessment.

  • Please note the assessment cannot take place until full payment is received and cleared and the parental questionnaire is completed and returned via email.

In the rare scenario that an assessment cannot be completed e.g. as a result of your child being unwilling to do so, then i will retain 50% of the full assessment fee to cover my expenses and unfortunately this automatically means there will be no report.

If the session is cancelled by either party e.g. due to illness, in the seven days leading up to it, then I will retain the deposit and arrange another date with you.

The fee includes

  • The assessment session (approx 2 hours)

  • A follow up telephone conversation to verbally discuss findings

  • A full diagnostic report sent to the person who commissioned the assessment via registered post or email

  • It is important to note that the report is a detailed document that will provide a formal identification of dyslexia IF APPROPRIATE and will signpost you to other areas of investigation if dyslexia is not found.

How to book an assessment

If you would like to proceed with an enquiry/ booking an assessment please click the button below to access the contact page.

It is important for you to know that:

  • I hold a current Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) certificate

  • I hold professional indemnity and public liability insurance

  • I hold a current Assessment Practicing Certificate (APC). This means that the report I write will be eligible (where Dyslexia is found) for evidence for an application to the Disabled Students Allowance (DSA) for Higher Education. A current APC also provides evidence that as a specialist teacher assessor I continue to meet the SpLD Standards Assessment Committee (SASC) criteria for professional practice

  • I undertake regular training.

I have tried to provide enough information here to ensure you are able to make an informed decision. If I can be of any further help, if you would like a chat or to book an assessment please click here.
